SCV Suction Control Valve Kit 294009-1221 / VHS4226E0061

What this part does

Suction control valve kit for a common-rail pump. A worn SCV shows as unstable rail pressure and a derate long before the pump itself fails.

Failure symptoms we hear most often

• Gradual loss of performance in the circuit it serves
• Abnormal noise, heat or vibration once the machine is at working temperature
• Metal or sludge in the oil when the filter is cut open
• Fault code or warning on the monitor that will not clear after reset

None of those four on their own prove the part has failed. Send us the serial number and a photo of the old unit and we will tell you whether to replace or repair — even when the answer is repair.
